It is mostly long vehicles that are normally use to transport logs of timber from one location to the other. A nursing mother and her baby have both been confirmed dead in Krobo Odumasi after they were crashed to death by a speeding sprinter driver. The deceased, Yaa Ansah and her seven months old baby were about to cross over the road at the Nyameso Junction; a junction that leads out of Krobo Odumasi to Akosombo when she was knocked down to death.
The Ho Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Divine Bosson, has gone into action, as bulldozers crushed to the ground buildings and structures, which are blocking waterways and sited at places earmarked for road projects in the Volta Regional capital. A few inhabitants in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region have arranged a gigantic show against the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the incumbent New Patriotic Party NPP Bernard Antwi Boasiako over an road project. Statistics has shown that a person dies every 3 hours through road accidents in Ghana. This is very alarming and dangerous. I was thinking 2022 will be better. But the way the year has started doesn't auger well for us as a country. The same mistakes are made repeatedly and I begin to wonder if all is well with us.
The government of Ghana is doing a lot in terms of infrastructural development. The Akuffo-Addo led government started a project which was dubbed "the year of roads" some years back. This project saw many deplorable roads being constructed into a modern form of road. This made the people of Ghana voted massively for the New Patriotic Party.
Most of our young boy of nowadays usually involves themselves in stealing rather than going to search for legal jobs to earn their living. Some of our youths also normally shares their ideas saying it's lack of job opportunities that leads them in stealing but not their intention to and take people's items without permission.
