About 200 pigs have died as a result of swine fever recorded in the Bono region. According to he Bono Regional Director of the Veterinary Services, Dr. Donald Darko has made it clear that about seven farms have been confirmed having this swine fever. Affected farmers have been organized and talked to on how to protect themselves and also stop the spread of this pig disease to other pigs in the region.
