Johnnie Hughes has once again sent a strong message to a government appointee on some work that needs to be done to save the country. On Johnnie’s Bite today, Monday, May 30, 2022, Johnnie called on the Special Prosecutor to take up some 2 cases which have been abandoned or overlooked.
In a public release yesterday, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah mentioned that President Akufo-Addo and his cabinet met at the Peduase Lodge where they mapped a strategy to curb the dwindling economic fortunes of the country’s economy. According to the release the government also seeks to cut down expenses and relief Ghanaians of the economic hardships they are facing.
Yesterday Parliament saw some interesting scenes as the Minority side of Parliament walked out of the house after they disagreed with the passage of the controversial E-levy. In the aftermath, the bill was passed and it remains for the president to append his signature to the bill to make it a law.
Johnnie Hughes today, Tuesday, January 4, 2022 returned as host of Johnnie’s Bite and TV3’s Newspaper discussion session. He had been off for some days causing many to believe that pressure had caused his employers to pull him off. Johnnie returned with a special message to the land of Umuofia.

Many might not be in favour with the way he handles controversial issues especially when it comes to holding the incumbent government accountable. He has been called out several times by the many on whose toes he has stepped, to change his ways and find proper means of addressing sensitive government matters.
