There was a spontaneous Jubilation in the Western Regional town of Apremdo after a maize farmer reportedly discovered crude oil in his farm. The townsfolks felt that they are rich already because extraction of the oil will bring more job opportunities for them. According to Joynews, immediately the news came out, government officials were informed to quickly bring machines to inspect the likely oil field.
