The Omanhene of Juaben and Chairman of Council of State, Daasebre Otuo Siriboe II has gratified the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll for his support throughout his 50 years journey as the Omanhene of Juabeen. He says Otumfuo’s 23 years of Kingship have seen him deliver immense support and love for his traditional area.
The mortal remains of the late New Juabenhene Daasebre Oti Boateng and New Juabenhemaa Nana Yaa Daani II will be laid to rest today at the New Juaben Royal Cemetery in Koforidua after 30 Years of Reign. This will be preceded by a traditional burial service (Doteyie) being held at the New Juaben Palace, to climax a three-day elaborate state funeral.

The Omanhene of Juaben Traditional Area has debunked the widely circulated news that he forced some assembly members to kneel and apologize for not voting for the president's MCE nominee. According to statement released signed by the Kwaku Ankomah Asare, the registrar, the news is nothing by vicious lies and propaganda being circulated and hence the traditional council feels the need to set the record straight on the matter leading to the kneeling of some of the assembly members
Kessben FM in Kumasi reported this morning that Juabenhene, Nana Otuo Siriboe II has summoned the NPP supporters who in a spite of angry, went to a river they call Nsuo Abena, within the Juaben district to invoke curses and perform weird rituals. They slaughtered sheep, poured libation and cursed NPP party executives for disqualifying their preferred candidate for the upcoming NPP parliamentary primaries. The Juaben Municipal has of late been gaining momentum and experiencing interesting and dramatic events in the airwaves. It may be recalled that the Juaben Municipal has on two occasions rejected the president's MCE nominee of the area through voting.
