The Ghana Police is in no way going to give criminal any chance to breath. This has resulted in the service relentlessly introducing new policies, methods and tactics in fighting crime and ensuring the streets and communities are safe and devoid of any criminals or any criminal activities.
It appears the new Inspector General Of Police, Dr. George Akkufo Dampare is not leaving any stone unturn in his efforts to fight crime in the Country. Since hid appointment and subsequent swearing in as IGP, Dr. Dampare has instituted a lot of strategies to defeat crime in the Country.
The Inspector general of the Ghana Police Service announced to the public, telling them of their preparation for the upcoming elections to maintain peace and stability during and after the elections. As in his speech ,he told the general public that apart of they as human have prepared themselves well ,they are also bringing in K-9 dogs which simply means canine -9 dogs ,these dogs are going to be used at the various polling stations nationwide and their main job is to detect if someone is holding some dangerous
