Few months ago the whole country was left in a state of shock Kaaka Macho, a resident of Ejura was murdered. This was followed by protests that eventually caused the loss of lives while many sustained injuries. This caused President Akufo-Addo to call for a probe into the Ejura incident.
Police and soldiers deployed to tackle rampaging crowds in any part of the country should now be made to wear body cameras. Vehicles and gadgets for such riot control operation must also have cameras. This is part of recommendations made to the Interior Minister by the three-member committee that was set up to investigate the last June violent clashes in Ejura.

To him, it's a secret Petition yet to be deliberated upon. Yesterday, a group of people whose mission is to 'FixTheCountry' held a demonstration in Accra to point out this hardship.Many of the placards displayed demanded the constitution be replaced.The sudden appearance of the new demand has surprised observers of the activities. A placard reading cynically 'I may not make it home alive after this demonstration' was seen in the demonstrators' hands.
