Fire Service trains three hundred fire volunteers in Upper West Region. The Upper West Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service ( GNFS ) has educated 300 hearth volunteers to assist fight fireplace in this 12 months's harmattan season which all started in November, 2021. At a passing-out rite to launch this 12 months's nearby bushfire prevention campaign at Issa inside the Daffiama / Bussie / Issa (DBI) District ultimate Tuesday, diverse equipment inclusive of Willington boots, jackets, and cutlasses donated by means of the German International Cooperation (GIZ ) were presented to the educated fire volunteers.

A Man believed to be in his mid 30's have been found Dead today, 30th December 2021 between Kaleo and Loho in the Nadowli-Kaleo District of Upper West Region. The Victim wore a shorts and a t-shirt and was also in cross sandals when the police arrived at the scene, he drove in a black Kia car with Registration Number AS 2540 12.

Catholic Diocese of Ho welcomes 2 New Transitory Deacons, Find out what the Bishop told them.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Ho, on the 4th of January 2022, ordained two ‘Transitory’ Deacons. The two are Rev. Prosper Yao Agbosu from Immaculate Conception Parish, Kpando and Michael Wonders Tsekpokumah from St. Augustine Parish, Alavanyo. Most Rev. Emmanuel Kofi Fianu, SVD, Bishop of the Ho Diocese in a homily at the Bishop Holland Centre in Sokode Gborgame where this memorable event took place, called on the newly ordained deacons to be men of good reputation, filled with wisdom and the Holy Spirit just like the deacons in the Act of the Apostle chapter six.

The Jang Christian community on the 13th of September 2020 were very grateful for the wonders God has done on to them. This day, which was Sunday was marked as a memorable day in the history of Jang. Their own beloved son Paschal Dieu-anyi who is said to be hailed from Sagu but was previously a resident of Kaleo and later on moved to the Noble town Jang in the Nadowli/Kaleo district- upper west region was ordained as a Rev. Father. Rev. Father Paschal therefore visited the Jang Christian community on Sunday
