The Executive Director of Africa Education Watch, Mr. Kofi Asare has told all Ghanaian teachers to channel their grievances and reservations to their union leaders in the midst of the One Teacher One Laptop intiative brouhaha. He took to his Official Facebook page on Saturday 4th November 2021 to add his voice to the uproar made by teachers about the money deducted from their accounts.

2022 Budget: Scrap Teacher Trainee Allowance and Invest in Basic Education- Kofi Asare To Gov't

The Executive Director of Africa Education Watch, Mr Kofi Asare has urged goverment to completely scrap the teacher trainee allowance. The teacher trainee allowance was restored by the Akufo-Addo led goverment in 2017 following its cancellation by the erstwhile NDC goverment. The Finance Minister, Mr Ken Ofori Atta is scheduled to present the 2022 budget in Parliament today.

Painful news: 17 police officers have been involved in a terrible car accident.

Another road accident has occurred, this time with 17 police officers involved. According to the report, a commercial Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with the license plate GS 6780-20 that was transporting these officers to their destination experienced mechanical failure. The commercial car's driver, Kofi Asare, 31, was allegedly attempting to slow down the car while descending the Aperede – Somanya hills when his brakes failed.

Sad News: Police Officers From Headquarters Involved In Serious Accident; Over 20 Hospitalised.

According to Citi TV'S Eastern Regional News correspondent, some Police officers in the Eastern Regional Headquarters Command Band have been involved in a Fatal accident. The reports further explained that over 20 Police officers sustained various degrees of injuries. They were all rushed to the Anum Government Hospital for further treatment.

Apo Dealer Has Been Arrested By National Security Operatives

The administrator of the WASSCE telegram channel, Jerusalema, has been arrested but the National Security operatives at Kasoa, for being responsible for WASSCE examination papers leakage. Jerusalema is known to be a dealer when it comes to exams apo in Kasoa. Some Administrators Of WAEC said part of the examination papers was found circulating on social media before the WASSCE examination began and such cheating groups were fully operating during that period.

A 54 year old cocoa farmer in Nuanua Fante in the Assin South of central region was shot in his farm over an alleged land dispute.
