A 47-year-old Kofi Atta, popularly known as Wofa Atta is currently battling to sustain his life at the St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu after he mysteriously cut off his genitals with knives while dreaming. The victim who hails from Assin Akomfode in the Assin North District of the Central Region is said to have had a dream on Saturday morning that, he was slaughtering goat meat to help his wife prepare an even meal.
The victim, who is bears the name Kofi Atta, but popularly known as Wofa Atta, is a farmer from Assin Akomfede, a small town in the Central Region. This man under discussion has accidentally cut off his scrotum, as a part of his abnormal actions taken while he is asleep.
The Central Region's Assin Akomfode farmer, who unintentionally chopped off his scrotum while asleep, is in critical condition. The farmer, Kofi Atta, claimed that he dreamed of cutting meat while he was asleep. Meanwhile, he was actually cutting a portion of his male genitalia without realizing it.

According to Joy News a man who is a farmer, while sleeping dreamt of cutting meat which later appeared to him that it was a reality. This is known as Parasomnia; which is a sleeping disorder that involves an unfavourable act that one does things in reality which appear to him in a dream.
