Bernard Allotey Jacob has reconciled with his inner guilt that has haunted him since President John Agyekum Kufuor left the Ghanaian presidency in 2001. Allotey openly confessed that he lied against the former Ghanaian leader and was therefore seeking the opportunity to meet with Mr. Kufour to render an unquailed apology.
The Highly Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) is a policy initiative launched by the Kufuor Administration to use some of the debt relief benefits to set up the Venture Capital Trust Fund (VCTF).
