The Newly Semester Based System Has Come To Stay - GES

The Ghana Education Service, (GES) has stated that the introduction of the new semester-based academic calendar in the public schools, thus Kindergarten, primary schools, Junior high schools, and senior high schools have come to stay in the system. According to the Deputy Director-General for Quality and Access of the Ghana Education Service, Dr. Kwabena Tandoh, the new system will help reduce pressure on teachers and help align the academic calendar with the activities of the schools.
