The sad news making rounds have it that 10 crush barriers on the Pokuase interchange, leading to Kwabenya end of the interchange have been stolen by some unknown miscreants. Indeed, the news came to many as a shock because, in the full glare of the public, people had the confidence to steal such huge and time exhausting to remove equipment.

The interchange consist of a 4 Tier road network, which links traffic movements from Nsawan in the Eastern Region to the the Greater Accra Region, and also connects Kwabenya and Awoshie in the process, via an overpass.
