St. Peter’s SHS, Chemu SHS and Presbyterian Boys’ School have qualified to compete in the semi-final stage of the ongoing National Science & Maths Quiz competition after winning their Quarter-final of the contest on Friday. Eastern Region-based St. Peter’s SHS after knocking out Sonrise SHS and Bolgatanga SHS to book the first slot in the Semi-final stage, first beat Notre Dame Girls’ SHS and Notre Dame Seminary SHS to make it to the Quarter-final stage.

Another exciting edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz is currently underway. This time the producers of the competition decided to bring it to a "Science" soil, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi. The One-eighth stage of the competition has taken off with 81 schools.
The 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz has been one of the best years so far. Out of over 100 schools that took part in the competition, only 27 schools remain and are heading to the quarterfinals of the competition. The quarterfinals stage is set to start today, 19th November, 2021.

The Quarter final Stage of the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) started today with a contest between St. Peter's SHS, Bolgatanga SHS and Sonrise SHS. 2019 NSMQ Champions, St. Augustine's College competed in the second contest of the day against Chemu SHS and Kanton SHS.

The One-eighth Stage of the annual National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) compeititon started today, November 15, 2021 in KNUST, Kumasi for the first time. A total of eight (8) contests were held today. After these thrilling and interesting contests, eight winners emerged.
NSMQ Reigning Champions, Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School (PRESEC), Legon progressed to the Quarter final Stage after an emphatic victory over Ghana SHS, Tamale and St. Mary's Boys' SHS at the One-eighth Stage of the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) competition. PRESEC went up against Swedru SHS and Techiman SHS in its contest today. PRESEC did not to have any problems sending the two schools, Swedru SHS and Techiman SHS back home. Some six hundred and seventy-four (674) Basic Education Certificate Examination candidates have benefitted from the distribution of free mathematical sets by the chief of Kwabre-Kenyase, Barima Fredua Agyemang Ababio. The seven (7) schools that are benefitting from the donation included; Kenyase JHS A, Kenyase JHS B, Barima Owusu Agyemang SDA, Brofoyedu JHS, Adwumam Manhyia JHS, Buobai JHS, and Kwamang Schools.
The National Science and Maths Quiz is an annual and national level quiz competition for senior high schools in Ghana. It has been produced by Primetime Limited, education-interest advertising, and public relations agency, since 1993. In this year’s edition, St. Peters is ready for the crown.
