The Comptroller General of the Ghana Immigration (GIS) service, Kwame Asuah Takyi has filed a defamation suit against media organisation Media General, TV3 Network Limited and Johnnie Hughes, host of the TV3 morning show. Per the writ of summons, the plaintiff says Johnnie used the media network’s platform between August 24 and September 23 to make statements that suggest that he is corrupt; uses his offices wrongly against others; uses his office to enrich himself; and has a questionable character which makes him unfit for the position he occupies.
