Public Sectors are threatening strike over 20% COLA - Workers.

Public Sectors in the country has threatened to embarked on indefinite strike, if their demands of 20% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) are not pay by the government within seven days. Court places directive on nurses strike

The National Labour Commission has gotten an interlocutory order against the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwifes Association (GRMA) to stop them from setting out on their proposed strike activity starting Monday, September 21, 2020.  The Accra High Court, (Work Division Court 1) directed by Equity Straightforward Aboagye Rockson has in this way requested the nurses to plunk down with the National Labour Commission (NLC) to get their complaints settled.  The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association

Nurses and Midwives to Call off Strike

The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) have stated that they will call off their strike action effective Thursday 24th September 2020. The President of the association, Perpetual Ofori Ampofo disclose this to the media on Wednesday 23rd September 2020.
