The Junior Squirrels of Benin hope of advancing into the final round of the the 2023 CHAN qualifiers were snuffed out on Saturday late afternoon when they lost 1-0 to Ghana in Cotonou. Daniel Afriyie Barnieh was once on target as he powered the Black Galaxies into a 1-0 victory to make it 4-0 aggregate scoreline to guide Ghana to advance into the next round.
Youth Alliance for Community Change, a youth-led community-based association with sponsorship from the National Youth Authority has organized a satellite installation training for youths at Yaru in the Wa East District. Speaking with the Acting Chief Director of the association, Mr Ibrahim Aminu, he said the essence of the training is to equip the youth with valuable skills that can earn them a living. He said the youth when trained would be engaged in productive ventures rather than idling quoting that, the
