The Ghana Education Service has assured parents the safety of their Wards in the mist of confirm Covid-19 cases in some Senior High Schools in the country. For about two weeks now that parents are asking for the closure of the Senior High Schools. The call for the closure of all Senior High Schools came after some students in some SHS testing positive of the Covid-19. The appeal from the parents started from Accra Girls Senior High Schools two weeks ago when five of their students tested positive for Covid-19.

The cases of senior high school Corona virus disease keep rising on daily basis. Many students have wanted to go home as many like the idea of staying in the school. The West African examination council (WASSCE) is starting next week for the practical subjects and students have prepared and are ready for the external final year examination. This is the update of the schools with Corona virus cases and their respective recoveries. Accra girls senior High School have 55 cases with 48 actives and 7 recoveries.
