Jinapor, minister for lands and natural resources has made public the penalty imposed on MAXAM Ghana Limited regarding the explosion that happened on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Apiate. According to a release from the Ministry of Land and natural resources on Monday, January 7, 2022, Mr. Jinapor made known the findings of the three-member committee that was established to conduct investigations into the matter thus a regulatory breach.
