Construction of 15 two-bedroom housing units for Ketu South tidal waves begins soon- MCE
Maxwell Lugudor, the MCE for Ketu South, has announced that the Ghana Gas Authority will begin building of 15 two-bedroom self-contained units for households devastated by recent tidal waves in the Ketù South District within the next two weeks. Dr Archibald Yao Letsa, the Volta Regional Minister, visited impacted areas in the Ketu South, Keta, and Anloga Districts, and informed the MCE.
Society must Support the Youth to Succeed - Maxwell Lugudor
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ketu-South, Maxwell Kofi Lugudor, has called on society to create the enabling environment for the youth to succeed. According to him the youth have been relegated to the background when it comes to matters pertaining to their development, a situation he observed is resulting in many of them becoming frustrated and resorting to drugs which only destroy them further.
Obtain Requisite Documents- Ketu- South MCE Cautions "Sand Winning" Contractors
Ketu South Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) , Maxwell Kofi Lugudor has cautioned contractors engaged in unauthorized and illegal sand winning activities in the Municipality to acquire the requisite documents and Business Operating Permits (BOP) from the Lands Commission, Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources etc before engaging such activities to avoid sanctions.
GH¢ 2 million resettlement project takes off in Ketu South this month
A GH¢2 million task to resettle tidal wave sufferers inside the Ketu South Municipality will start in weeks, in keeping with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Maxwell Lugudor. He said the Ghana Gas Company had made funds to be had for the undertaking while the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation and the National Lotteries Authority had also pledged to provide resources for the expansion of the assignment.
