More than 3.5 million cases of the novel coronavirus including at least 251,000 deaths have been recorded worldwide according to the John Hopkins University, India has recorded 3,900 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours in the country's biggest single-day spike, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
