A lecturer with the Tamale Technical University, Mohammed Sheriff Ibrahim, has been appointed as the new Northern Regional Communications Director of the governing New Patriotic Party. Until his appointment, Mohammed Sheriff Ibrahim, served as deputy to Sule Salifu who has since left the position following his nomination and subsequent confirmation as Mayor of the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly.
The Concern Youth Group, an affiliate of the governing New Patriotic Party in the Northern Region have come hard at their regional chairman, Mohammed Baantima Samba, accusing him of deceit as a party regional headquarters he promised while campaigning for the chairmanship position is yet to materialise.
