The issue of the government building a national cathedral has been a topic deliberated on by many Ghanaians. While the NPP government believes it will serve as a national tourist site and bring jobs to Ghanaians, other opposition parties and some people of other faiths believe it is insensitive for the government to consider such a project using state resources when Ghanaians are suffering during this economic crisis era.
