Galamsey Machines Burnt In Tarkwa
The Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) of Tarkwa-Nsuaem in the Western Region launched an operation on Tuesday to curb illegal mining, popularly known as "galamsey," on the River Bonsa in the area. Approximately ten dredging machines used in illegal mining activities were destroyed in the process.
