The Union of Professional Nurses and Midwives, Ghana (UPNMG) has kicked against plans by the Youth Employment Authority (YEA) to enlist 5,000 SHS graduates to help work at the Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS). The ministry of health has finally released posting for the Nurse Assistant Clinical/Preventive (NAC/NAP). This category of graduated nurses after many months of lamenting are finally going to be recruited. A letter released today by the Ministry confirms it. The NAC/NAP were excluded in the July posting for the Diploma/ Degree nurses. This will be a nerve-calming for the the Nurse Assistant Clinical/Preventive.
