Administrative Officers At Local Gov’t Service To Be Laid-Off
Some Local Government Workers are likely to lose their jobs in the coming days, thus according to the Head of the Local Government Service, Dr Nana Ato Arthur. The workers to be affected are the Administrative Officers in the local government service, he said. Dr Arthur says the service is taking steps to lay-off workers because the sector has become choked, adding that the large number of Administrative Officers at the various Assemblies have not improved quality of service delivery within the sector.
