The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has presented the official first eleven following the successful completion of Nations Cup in Cameroon. Unfortunately for Ghana, no member of Black Stars squad for the tournament made it into the official line up. In the goal post, goalkeeper Edwardo Mendy was selected ahead of Egyptian Gabaski.
Black Stars head coach Milovan Rajevac has finally submitted 28 players for the imminent Africa Cup of Nations. The final squad is made up of five local players and twenty three foreign-based players. The Ghanaian icon will attend the draw in Cameroon on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 as a special guest. Gyan, who played for the Black Stars at the 2019 Nations Cup, believes the talented Black Stars will need a favorable draw in Cameroon to go far.
