In 2017, during the financial sector clean-up, the Bank of Ghana in performing its regulatory functions shut down the operations of several banks including the GN Bank. The board of directors and owners of the bank did not take this lightly and took the matter to court against Health Network Company Limited.
One of Ghana’s successful and celebrated entrepreneurs, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, says he has had enough of the deliberate and malicious campaigns that have been waged against his person, his family and businesses the past four years. Many of the negative campaigners and dirt throwers are people who have sought refuge under the tent of the current administration and people who for that reason feel that they are untouchable.
Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom is one of the hardest hit in the so-called financial sector reforms which government embarked on, in 2018. His entire 50+ companies have been affected by the exercise. Currently, properties belonging to these companies are being rotten off in the bushes throughout the country.
The Commercial Division of an Accra High Court On Thursday 15, July 2021, managed by Justice Shiela Minta requested Health Network Company (Healthnet) to pay GH¢174 million to the Ghana Growth Fund Company/Gold Coast Advisors, a Groupe Nduom Company.
