According to reports, he passed on two weeks ago after a short illness, but the family and traditional rulers of the area, were waiting until today to make the official declaration.

Sources close to the New Juaben Palace and the family, said the New Juaben Traditional Council was expected to officially announce the death which occurred about two weeks ago after a short illness today.
