A Pressure group in Ghana known as OccupyGhana has threatened to sue the Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addos government over its lackadaisical attitude towards the fight against illegal mining also known as galamsey. The group says government has all it needs to fight galamsey but has chosen not to enforce what it has because those supposed to enforce the rules are probably engaged in the act themselves as alleged.
