Ghana Education Service Invites Teachers To ICT Training Amidst Ongoing Strike Action
The Management of Ghana Education Service have invited teachers at Senior High Schools and Junior High Schools to participate in a nationwide ICT training for teachers amidst the ongoing strike action by Pre-tertiary teachers. According to GES it is part of the One-Teacher, One-Laptop initiative. A release by GES said that all teachers are expected to undergo some basic ICT training to help them use the various e-learning resources that have been made available on the laptops.

One Teacher, One Laptop Initiative Becomes a Reality
The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia has today Friday 3rd September, 2021 launched the One Teacher, One Laptop programme at St Mary's Senior High School in Accra. This is an initiative by government to help teachers be abreast with ICT and modern trends of teaching and learning.
