Okudzeto Ablakwa Exposes Gov’t Over Aisha Huang’s Purported Deportation
Ranking Member of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has made some damning revelations about the purported deportation of Chinese national Aisha Huang out of Ghana four years ago. Aisha Huang, the illegal mining kingpin, was rearrested and remanded in custody by an Accra Circuit Court last week after she sneaked back into Ghana.
Akuffo-Addo's Morals and Honesty are under scrutiny
In relation to the increase in the value-added tax (VAT), the member of parliament for the North Tongue Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Volta Region has questioned the integrity of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo. The government announced an increase in VAT last Thursday, November 24,2022, by 2.5 percent, bringing the VAT payment threshold to 15 percent.
