The Public Utility Regulatory Commission (PURC) has announced new tariffs for water and electricity for the period covering 2022 to 2023. Beginning September 1, 2022, end-user electricity tariff will go up by 27.15 per cent while water will also be increased by 21.55 per cent.

The Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) has declared tax increments compelling September 1, 2022. Duties for power and water are supposed to increase by 27.15% and 21.55% separately. This was contained in an official statement gave by the Commission today.
