Raphael Nii Amaa Ollennu was born on 21st May, 1906 in Accra ,Gold Coast. He had his elementary education at Osu Salem school and had his secondary education at Accra High school. After secondary school he proceeded to the Presbyterian training college at Akropong in the Eastern region to study pedagogy and theology. After his training at the Presbyterian college Mr Ollennu travelled to England to study jurisprudence at the Middle Temple,London and was called to the Bar in 1940 after he earned recognition passing
