The situation in some communities in Ghana after a heavy downpour has long been described as sad. Since the rainy season began this year, some communities and individuals have been affected severally and in extreme circumstances, lives have been lost. Residents of the Western Region have for the past two days been baptized with heavy rainfall and several roads have were blocked as a result.

A group of people have been arranged in a tricycle as if the the tricycle was made for passengers. This is extremely dangerous some Ghanaians asked whether the Ghana Police Service are not that road. H.E President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo formally commissioned the high standard Pokuasi interchange yesterday, 9th July, to traffic, although the interchange was partially opened some months ago. The $94.8 million project which is alleged to be the most beautiful interchange in west Africa begun in 2017 by the Akuffo Addo led government, and was designed to fit in the Central Corridor Infrastructure project to link the Accra-Nsawam, Awoshie Pokuasi and Pokuasi-Kwabenya Ritz junction roads and the Tema Motorway.
The Tema police Commander of the Motor Transport and Traffic Department (MTTD) of the Ghana police service has stated that about 90 Percent Of Road Accident that occur in the country are avoidable.
