Thursday, 9th November 2021 Before the proposed electronic transaction tax could be approved, there is information that the government has already contracted a private company to collect the tax for Government. In the 2022 budget, an amount of GHC 242m is allocated to pay the company for services it will be rendering to the state.

Wednesday, 1st December 2022 Two things or even more happened in parliament yesterday. The first was the decision of the second deputy speaker to quash the ruling of his boss on Friday to reject the 2022 budget. He stated that the ruling was in error and contravened article 104 of 1992 and then ordered for it to be expunged from parlimentary records.
