The Ghana Education Service has released a new Academic Calendar to solve the issue timetable for students in our Senior High Schools. On 31st March 2021, the GES gave Ghanaians an academic calendar and Easter celebration notice on their official Facebook page but it was reported that some of the students were asked to return home after bothering cars to their various schools.
The management of the Ghana Education Service has directed all Heads of senior high and technical schools in the country to restrain final year students from moving outside their campuses as they break for midterm. In a letter released by GES dated 19th July 2021 and signed by the Deputy Director-General, Dr. Kwabena Bempah Tandoh, it added that mid-semester break for SHS 3 students should be observed in the schools without any academic activities.
