The head of Public Relations for the Ghana School Feeding Program (GSFP), Siiba Alfa, has called on the government to increase the school feeding grant. This, he said, will motivate the caterers to do their work diligently. It would also help to prepare healthy and well-balanced meals for the school children.
Caterers under the Ghana School Feeding Initiative will soon smile to bank as Government has released GhC 160 million out of GhC 213 million, to settle outstanding arrears for the first term of the 2021 academic year. The disbursement of the funds started last Friday and will cover the cost of 62 days of cooking for all caterers except those in the Western and Western North Region.
