On Wednesday, Sudanese actress Asia Abdel-Majid was killed in the crossfire of fighting in the capital, Khartoum, amid clashes between two rival factions that have ravaged the country and killed hundreds of innocent people. Her nephew told CNN that the 80-year-old died when shells struck her home in Bahri, north of the capital, during fighting between the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces and the Sudanese army.
