It was earlier on reported that the Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Otchere Darko Mensah has disputed the nine-month pregnancy of 28-year-old Josephine Panyin Mensah. Minister is reported to have said that Mrs Josephine Panyin Mensah faked her pregnancy and kidnapping. However, speaking on Takoradi-based Connect FM Wednesday morning, Mrs Panyin Mensah's husband, Michael Simmons said records at the Takoradi Hospital to show that his wife has been pregnant for nine months.
The Takoradi Hospital has clarified the ongoing ordeal about the 28 years old woman who was kidnapped in Takoradi about a week ago. The pregnancy of Josephine Payin Simons, the victim, became an issue when the Western Region Minister, Kwabena Okyere-Darko Mensah announced that preliminary investigations into the case indicate that the lady was not pregnant after all.
