The injunction was granted by High Court of Justice, Wenchi. “Plaintiff/Applicant herein praying the Honorable court for an order of interlocutory injunction restraining the defendant, its agents, assigns, representatives, organs, workmen or anybody claiming through it from organize, supervise, monitoring any play-offs of matches involving Abusua Dwarfs, Liberty Professionals, Tamale City or any other division one football club for promotion into the Ghana Premier League as per the grounds stated in the accompanying affidavit.” Part of the interlocutory injunction noted.
