One feared dead, several passengers injured in a gory accident on Tema Motorway
A gory accident occurred on the Tema Motorway today, September 1, before noon with several passengers, including babies sustaining injuries and one feared dead. A victim’s account indicated that the commercial vehicle was headed to Accra from Tema at a top speed. According to Yaw Osei, the passengers complained, but the driver ignored them.

The Government’s Spokesperson on Infrastructure, Kojo Frimpong disclosed the reconstruction of Tema Motorway that is commencing on December, 2021. Kojo Frimpong said, the ministry of roads and highways are ready to begin the project but it hasn't been approved by the parliament. He again said, if the parliament approves the decision to reconstruct the Tema Motorway, then they will serve a notice to the public.
