The President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Akuffo Addo Danquah has today commissioned an Astro turf football field at the University of Professional Studies ( UPS ) campus. The President said the facility will help promote sport activities in the country. His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo said his government has sports interest at heart. Many Ghanaian's are asking if it's necessary for the President to leave his busy schedules and go to commission Astro turf. This could have done by the sport minister instead.
Two female students within the University of Professional Studies (UPS) has been expelled from their practicing rooms in the hostel in Accra. This was revealed by a statement released by authorities running the affairs of the institution. According to the school's authorities, any of such student who would be found in such an act would be heavily penalized for flouting the laws of the institution.
