Over 128,000 Teachers Issued NTC License Cards So Far

A total of 128,789 government teachers have been issued an NTC license card as part of plans to promote quality education and teacher professionalization in the country. A short interview on Citinewsroom on Friday November 19, 2021 revealed. In the interview Dr Christian Addai Poku, Registrar of the National Teaching Council said “the National Teaching Council (NTC) as part of its plans to promote quality Education has issued and certified 128,789 licenses to government teachers.”

The Executive Director of EduWatch following reports that a candidate who sat for the just-ended BECE eased herself in exams hall after an invigilator denied her the chance to attend to nature’s call has advised her parents to sue WAEC. In a Post dated Sunday 21st November 2021 on his Official Facebook page, he took a dig at WAEC and Ghana Education Service before offering advice to the said victims parents to sue WAEC.

BECE Begins Today, 15 of November.

About 571,894 final-year junior high school (JHS) students are beginning their Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) from today, Monday, November 15 and total of 531,707 and 517,332 sat for the paper in 2020 and 2019 respectively. A statement that was made by the Head of Public Relations of the Ghana Education Service, Mrs. Cassandra Twum Ampofo, pleaded with candidate to no engage in any form of malpractices.
