Napaɣa Gbanzalin, first wife of the overlord of Dagbang, Yaa Naa Mahama Abukari II, has died. She reportedly passed away in the twilight of yesterday after a long battle with an undisclosed illness. All the customary requirements that have to be performed before news of her death is made public have been performed by the Gbewaa Palace and burial is likely to take place later in the day.
